July 11th, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

So you want to be a successful business person managing a growing home based business. But what if your business dream got shattered by a cruel business opportunist who offered you a wonderful opportunity, which later turned out to be just another scam. Sounds terrible, isn’t it? But that’s exactly what happens to millions of American moms who have the burning passion of becoming a stay at home business woman. Renting Versus Buying A Home - Four Questions

July 02nd, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

When considering renting versus buying a home, forget the biased advice of those who think it is always better to buy. Instead, consider the important questions you need to ask. Here are four of them.

1. How long will you be there?

Generally, if you will be moving in the next few years, you’ll be better off renting. Of course this wasn’t true during the last real estate bubble, when home values in some areas were going up 20% or more annually. But then some of those who timed it wrong and bought in the summer of 2006 saw a 20% decline in value in the following years. How would you like to be facing a move when you owe more on your home than it is worth? (Read the full post about ‘Renting Versus Buying A Home - Four Questions’…)

Cost Effective Marketing That Does Not Break The Bank

June 23rd, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

We all know that the key to running any successful online business is generating traffic so people can either buy your product or service. Most people will go out and get traffic, but still see little or no results. This happens because not all traffic is the same. You must generate targeted traffic that is specific to what your business is. Once you find your targeted traffic it is then only a matter of cranking up your advertising.

A major problem though is not everyone has thousands of dollars to dump into heavy marketing. That is why I have developed some very cost effective marketing methods that not only allow you to market on a low budget, but also will get you targeted traffic. Tips for a cheaper living

June 18th, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

1. Say No to more Credit and Store cards!
Did you know that the more cards you have the more likely you are to suffer from financial problems? Gone are the days when a credit or store card was a symbol of exclusivity, now they are practically throwing them at you. It’s easy to be lured in by promises of discounts, loyalty clubs and special introduction rates, but remember these rates usually go up. Shop around to find the best credit card deal and limit the amount you have.

2. Don’t keep up with the Joneses!
In such a consumer-based lifestyle, don’t get caught up in the mentality that you ’need’ the latest mobile phone, label brand clothes, and flashy car - you don’t. (Read the full post about ‘Tips for a cheaper living’…)

Blogging for Success - A Basic Guide for The Beginner Blogger

June 06th, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

To understand and make use of blogging as an internet business tool, beginner bloggers first should understand what a blog is and why it can be so popular, convenient, and effective as an internet business tool. Blogging can be compared to a public forum or journal, where any topic of interest can be discussed at length by various users. This is a perfect tool for sharing thoughts and ideas, and this concept is easily applied as an internet business tool for beginners as well as old hats.

Text blogging is the simple form, meaning that entries are typed out for others to read. Audio blogging takes the same blogging concept however the entries are created through an audio feed, allowing users to listen to their message rather than read it. Regulations on Credit Card Advertisements Are Needed to Help Eliminate Debt

June 01st, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

We have all seen credit card advertisements on television, radio, magazines, etc. These ads always show ordinary people, living an extraordinary life. Just like we all want to do.

The message is clear, just use our powerful plastic card, and you can have it all, and have it now. Forget what you can really afford, just live the good life.

I saw a credit card commercial on television this past weekend that really started me thinking about the message they are broadcasting to America. The wrong message in my opinion. You have probably viewed the ad. A young couple’s television finally dies out. The wife tells her husband that it is all right to go get that new TV set. May 30th, 2008 | Category: Business, Educational, Marketing, Other

Goa has lately been in news for all the wrong reasons, but surprisingly its real estate industry managed to survive most of the impediments except for the crime.

Notably, the international tourist destination still promises to be a profitable endeavor for real estate developers and investors alike, despite the local resistance and ban on SEZs. According to industry sources, the real estate values in Goa have registered an appreciation of almost 100% in the recent times.

Buying a property in Goa is not an easy task, especially, for the foreigners after the ban imposed on them by the government. But, the cost of purchasing property in Goa is the lowest in the country. (Read the full post about ‘Goa Real Estate Fighting All Odds, But The Crime’…)
