Swirl Tables

Monday, May 26th, 2008

Swirl finish is anodized aluminium with randomly sanded swirls etched into the surface.

A swirl table is a table top finish that offers a durable, stain and scratch resistant alternative to linens. This unique table finish requires minimal maintenance, unlike table cloths, and makes it quick and easy to set it up and take it down. Swirl finish is an economical and smart choice for hotel and facility managers.

A clear powder coat finish protects the table. All top surfaces are .080″ thick with integral stiffener ribs and have a 1 1/2″ profile edge. End caps are heavy gauge and have high impact cast corner inserts which will absorb abuse from frequent set up and take down. (Read the full post about ‘Swirl Tables’…)

Electric Guitar Whammy Bars: Finally Explained!

Wednesday, May 21st, 2008

Occasionally, one may find a used electric guitar equipped with an odd bar dangling from its bridge. This bar is called a tremolo or “whammy” bar. There are also other names for this device, such as vibrato arm or wang bar.

Actually, you will find many electric guitars with the tremelo bar feature at any Guitar Center store. While new models are popular, vintage used electric guitars with intact original equipment are the most valuable.

The device was developed and introduced in the late 1940’s and 1950’s and gave guitar players an interesting playing option. The bar or arm is still produced on certain models of electric guitars today. (Read the full post about ‘Electric Guitar Whammy Bars: Finally Explained!’…)

Digital Photos on Canvas : Changing the Way People Think

Sunday, May 18th, 2008

Digital photography has changed the way people take and share photos. In the days before digital cameras existed, people were not as trigger-happy with the shutter button on their cameras as they are today. This is because each camera could only shoot one roll of film of anywhere between approximately ten and thirty pictures at a time. While not obscenely expensive, rolls of film still cost money, and each roll had to be developed which also cost money. Nowadays, with the advent of the digital camera, it is possible to take hundreds of photos and have them stored on the camera’s memory card. I Go One Way, Beyond The Grand Canyon !

I Go One Way, Beyond The Grand Canyon !
What are you waiting for ? I don’t know, but something will come along, sooner or latter. The trend, the fad, or who knows what. I’m some-what of a coward maybe. Need to go one way, but need to come to stay, anyway I can, so I don’t like to think. I will go only so far, and maybe they’ll come to change, before I come, to go to far with them. Ride with the tide, and I want to be the fish, and the fish-keeper. Naming names that have come to go both ways, is taking longer and longer. Don’t know what the world is coming to, or where it’s going, and maybe I need to be willing to stand alone more. My leadership by myself has greater potential, and my prayers I hear alone.
